The investment seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the total return of FTSE Developed Small Cap ex-US Liquid Index. The fund invests at least 90% of net assets in stocks that are included in the index. The index is comprised of small capitalization companies in developed countries outside the United States, as defined by the index provider. It will concentrate its investments (i.e., hold 25% or more of its total assets) in a particular industry, group of industries or sector to approximately the same extent that its index is so concentrated. The fund may invest up to 10% of its net assets in securities not included in its index.

The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the MSCI Japan Small Cap Index (the "underlying index"). The fund generally invests at least 90% of its assets in the securities of the underlying index or in depositary receipts representing securities in its underlying index. The underlying index targets 40% of the eligible small-cap universe within each industry group in the MSCI Japan Index, which consists of stocks traded primarily on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
