PSCM Description

The PowerShares S&P SmallCap Materials Portfolio (Fund) is based on the S&P SmallCap 600® Capped Materials Index (Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. The Index is designed to measure the overall performance of common stocks of US basic materials companies. These companies are principally engaged in the business of producing raw materials, including paper or wood products, chemicals, construction materials, and mining and metals. The Index is a subset of the S&P SmallCap 600® Index, which is a float-adjusted, market-capitalization-weighted index reflecting the US small-cap market. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted quarterly.

It invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. It seeks to track the performance of the Nasdaq Lux Health Tech Index, by using full replication technique. First Trust Nasdaq Lux Digital Health Solutions ETF was formed on March 22, 2022 and is domiciled in the United States.
