TriCo Bancshares operates as the holding company for Tri Counties Bank that provides commercial banking services to retail customers, and small to medium-sized businesses. The company accepts demand, savings, and time deposits; and provides residential and commercial real estate mortgage, consumer, commercial, agricultural, and real estate construction loans. It also offers installment note collection services; issues cashier's checks; sells travelers checks; and provides online banking services, safe deposit boxes, and other customary banking services. As of April 29, 2013, the company operated 41 traditional and 25 in-store branch locations; a network of 72 ATMs; and a telephone customer service center in 23 California counties. The company was founded in 1974 and is headquartered in Chico, California.
