It benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the Merrill Lynch Preferred Stock Hybrid Securities Index and Lehman Brothers US Aggregate Bond Index. John Hancock Preferred Income Fund II was formed on November 29, 2002 and is domiciled in the United States.
