Home Federal Bancorp, Inc. of Louisiana operates as the holding company for Home Federal Bank, which provides financial services to individuals, corporate entities, and other organizations in northwest Louisiana. The company's deposit products include passbook savings, certificates of deposit, and demand deposit accounts. Its loan portfolio comprises real estate loans, such as one to four family residential loans; commercial real estate loans; multi-family residential loans; commercial business loans; land loans; construction loans; home equity and second mortgage loans; equity lines of credit; and consumer non-real estate loans, including loans secured by deposit accounts, automobile loans, overdraft, and other unsecured loans. The company also offers security brokerage and advisory services through a third party provider. As of July 10, 2013, it operated through four full-service banking offices and one commercial lending agency office in northwest Louisiana. The company was founded in 1924 and is based in Shreveport, Louisiana.
