Republic First Bancorp, Inc. operates as the holding company for Republic First Bank that provides various credit and depository banking services to individuals and businesses. It offers various deposit products, including consumer and commercial deposit accounts, checking accounts, interest-bearing demand accounts, money market accounts, certificates of deposit, savings accounts, sweep accounts, lockbox services, and individual retirement accounts. The company’s loan portfolio consists of secured and unsecured commercial loans comprising commercial real estate loans, construction and land development loans, commercial and industrial loans, owner occupied real estate loans, consumer and other loans, automobile loans, home improvement loans, mortgages, home equity and overdraft lines of credit, and other products. As of July 23, 2013, it operated 13 offices located in Abington, Ardmore, Bala Cynwyd, Plymouth Meeting, Media, and Philadelphia in Pennsylvania; and Voorhees and Haddonfield in New Jersey. The company was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
