CPI Aerostructures, Inc. engages in the contract production of structural aircraft parts for defense prime contractors, the United States Air Force, and other branches of the armed forces. It also operates as a subcontractor to prime aircraft manufacturers in the production of commercial aircraft parts. In addition, the company is involved in assembling various C-5A parts consisting of panels, slats, spoilers, and wing-tips. Further, it delivers various pods, modular and structural assemblies, skin panels, leading edges, flight control surfaces, engine components, wings, wing spars, cowl doors, and nacelle and inlet assemblies for military aircrafts; engine inlets, flaps, and vane assemblies; and structural kits and assemblies. The company was formerly known as Consortium of Precision Industries, Inc. and changed its name to CPI Aerostructures, Inc. in July 1992. CPI Aerostructures, Inc. was founded in 1980 and is headquartered in Edgewood, New York.
