In addition, it operates directed care networks that provide diagnostic imaging, physical and occupational therapy, independent medical evaluations, durable medical equipment, and transportation and translation services. The company assists insurance companies, third-party administrators, governmental entities, and self-administered employers in managing medical costs and monitoring the quality of care associated with healthcare claims. CorVel Corporation was founded in 1987 and is based in Irvine, California.
