Coty Inc. was formerly known as Benckiser Cosmetics Holdings, Inc. and changed its name to Coty Inc. in August 1995. The company was founded in 1904 and is headquartered in New York, New York. It has manufacturing locations in Ashford, United Kingdom; Granollers, Spain; Chartres, France; Monaco; Jiangsu Province, China; Sanford, North Carolina; Los Angeles, California; and Phoenix, Arizona. The company also has research and development facilities in Monaco; Granollers, Spain; Geneva, Switzerland; Jiangsu Province, China; Morris Plains, New Jersey; Los Angeles, California; and Phoenix, Arizona.
