The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing all of its assets in shares of the Global Impact Master Portfolio (the "Master Portfolio;" references to the "fund" include, where applicable, the Master Portfolio), which has the same investment objective and strategy as the fund. It invests in equity securities of issuers located throughout the world, including non-dollar securities and securities of emerging market issuers.
