Renasant Corporation Description
Renasant Corporation, through its subsidiaries, provides financial, fiduciary, and insurance services to retail and commercial customers. It operates through three segments: Community Banks, Insurance, and Wealth Management. The Community Banks segment offers checking accounts, money market accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposit, individual retirement accounts (IRAs), and health savings accounts, as well as safe deposit and night depository facilities. It also provides real estate construction loans, including loans for the construction of single family residential properties, multi-family properties, and commercial projects; real estate1-4 family mortgages; real estatecommercial mortgage loans; installment loans to individuals; business and personal loans; and equipment leasing. The Insurance segment provides commercial and personal insurance through carriers. The Wealth Management segment offers fiduciary services, which include administration and management of trust accounts, including personal and corporate benefit accounts, self-directed IRAs, and custodial accounts; administers qualified retirement plans, profit sharing and other employee benefit plans, personal trusts, and estates; and provides annuities, mutual funds, and other investment services through a third party broker-dealer. As of February 28, 2013, the company operated 83 banking and financial services offices in north and north Central Mississippi, Tennessee, north and Central Alabama, and north Georgia. Renasant Corporation was founded in 1904 and is based in Tupelo, Mississippi.
