For its equity portion, the fund invests in stocks of companies operating across materials, metals and mining, gold sectors. It invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. For its commodity portion, the fund invests through derivatives in gold. It uses derivatives such as futures to create its portfolio. The fund also seeks to invest in gold futures through its wholly-owned Cayman Islands subsidiary. WisdomTree Trust - WisdomTree Efficient Gold Plus Gold Miners Strategy Fund is domiciled in the United States.

The investment seeks results that correspond (before fees and expenses) generally to the performance of the Sprott Zacks Gold Miners Index. The index aims to track the performance of gold and silver mining companies whose stocks are traded on major U.S. exchanges. In addition to common stock or American Depository Receipts of gold mining companies, the index may include common stock or ADRs of silver mining companies. The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its net assets in securities that comprise the index. The fund is non-diversified.
