The investment objective of the Fund is to seek investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield, before the Fund's fees and expenses, of an index called the Nasdaq US Smart Oil & Gas Index. The Fund seeks to replicate the holdings and weightings of the Nasdaq US Smart Oil & Gas Index so as to generate performance results 95% correlated to that of the Nasdaq US Smart Oil & Gas Index.

The fund normally invests at least 80% of its total assets in securities that comprise the fund's benchmark index. The index is comprised of equity securities and depositary receipts of companies that generate at least 50% of their revenues from (or, in certain circumstances, have at least 50% of their assets related to) crude oil refining.
