The fund invests in public equity and currency markets of the United States. For its equity portion, it invests directly and through other funds in stocks of companies operating across blockchain companies including digital asset mining, blockchain and digital asset transactions, blockchain applications, blockchain and digital asset hardware, and blockchain and digital asset integration sectors. The fund invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. For its currency portion, it invests through derivatives in Bitcoin. The fund uses derivatives such as futures contracts to invest in Bitcoin through a wholly-owned subsidiary organized in the Cayman Islands. Global X Funds - Global X Blockchain & Bitcoin Strategy ETF is domiciled in the United States.

The PowerShares Financial Preferred Portfolio (Fund) is based on the Wells FargoÂ® Hybrid and Preferred Securities Financial Index (WHPSF Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in preferred securities that comprise the Index. The Index tracks the performance of US-listed securities issued by financial institutions. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted monthly.
