It operates through three segments: Automobiles; E-Scooter; and Spare Parts & Aftermarket Services. The Automobiles segment designs, develops, manufactures, and sells cars and electric buses. The E-Scooter segment offers e-scooters. The Spare Parts & Aftermarket Services segment sells spare parts and offers aftermarket services for automobiles and e-scooters. The company also sells smartphones, as well as leases automobiles and e-scooters. The company was formerly known as VinFast Trading & Investment Pte. Ltd. and changed its name to VinFast Auto Pte. Ltd. in December 2022. The company was incorporated in 2015 and is headquartered in Singapore. VinFast Auto Pte. Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of Vingroup Joint Stock Company.
