Grade Last Price % Change Price Change
C 544.44 1.12% 6.03
SPY closed up 1.12 percent on Friday, July 26, 2024, on 1.18 times normal volume. The stock rose above its 50 day moving average, improving its intermediate-term outlook by crossing above that important trendline. Due to the stock's strong downtrend, it may remain oversold for a while. So, if you're looking for a reason to buy, don't put too much weight on it being oversold.

Some impressive flatlining by SPY.  It's been chopping around in a pretty narrow range for about 6 weeks now.  Note how the 10 and 20-day moving averages have converged and are basically horizontal. Something's got to give soon... I hope.
