The PowerShares DWA Emerging Markets Momentum Portfolio (Fund) is based on the Dorsey Wright® Emerging Markets Technical Leaders Index ND (Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its total assets in securities of emerging economies within Dorsey, Wright & Associates, LLC's classification definition, excluding companies listed on a US stock exchange. The Index includes approximately 100 companies that possess powerful relative strength characteristics and are domiciled in emerging market countries including, but not limited to Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey. The Index is computed using the net return, which withholds applicable taxes for non-resident investors. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted quarterly. Effective on or about Oct. 4, 2013, the name of the Fund changed from PowerShares DWA Emerging Markets Technical Leaders Portfolio to PowerShares DWA Emerging Markets Momentum Portfolio.

FLBR Description The investment seeks to provide investment results that closely correspond, before fees and expenses, to the performance of the FTSE Brazil RIC Capped Index (the FTSE Brazil Capped Index). Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in the component securities of the FTSE Brazil Capped Index and in depositary receipts representing such securities. The FTSE Brazil Capped Index is based on the FTSE Brazil Index and is designed to measure the performance of Brazilian large- and mid-capitalization stocks. The fund is non-diversified.
