The investment seeks to track the investment results of the BlackRock ESG Aware Conservative Allocation Index (the underlying index). The fund is a fund of funds and seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in underlying funds that themselves seek investment results corresponding to their own respective underlying indexes each of which takes into account environmental, social and governance (ESG) characteristics. The underlying index is composed of a portfolio of underlying equity and fixed income funds with positive environmental, social, and governance characteristics intended to represent a conservative risk profile.

The fund advisor seeks to provide broad exposure to commodities across three different sustainability focused themes: agriculture, renewable energy and electrification. In order to provide such exposure, the fund will invest primarily in derivatives instruments for which the underlying assets are commodities and equity securities that are economically tied to particular commodities.
