Avinger, Inc., a medical device company, designs, manufactures, and sells image-guided, catheter-based systems used by physicians to treat patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD). It offers Lightbox, an imaging console, which enables the use of lumivascular catheters during PAD procedures; Ocelot, a chronic total occlusion (CTO) crossing catheter, which allows physicians to see the inside of an artery during a CTO crossing procedure; Ocelot PIXL, a lower profile CTO-crossing device for below-the-knee arteries; and Ocelot MVRX, a device which offers a tip design for above-the-knee arteries. The company also provides Wildcat, a catheter that facilitates the intraluminal placement of conventional guidewires beyond stenotic lesions in the peripheral vasculature prior to further percutaneous intervention; and Kittycat 2, a catheter that facilitate the intraluminal placement of conventional guidewires beyond stenotic lesions in the peripheral vasculature prior to further percutaneous intervention. The company offers its products to interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and interventional radiologists directly in the United States and Europe. Avinger, Inc. was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Redwood City, California.
