Antibody Drug Conjugate

An Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC) is a type of targeted therapy used to treat cancer. It is a combination of an antibody, which is a protein that binds to a specific target on cancer cells, and a drug, which is a chemical that kills the cancer cells. The antibody is linked to the drug, allowing it to be delivered directly to the cancer cells. This targeted approach reduces the side effects of traditional chemotherapy, which can damage healthy cells as well as cancer cells.
