Fabless Semiconductor Companies

Fabless semiconductor companies are companies that design and develop integrated circuits (ICs) but outsource the fabrication of the ICs to a third-party foundry. These companies focus on the design and development of ICs, while the foundry handles the manufacturing process. Fabless semiconductor companies are typically smaller than integrated device manufacturers (IDMs) and have lower overhead costs.
