Open Text Corporation engages in the design, development, marketing, and sale of enterprise information management software and solutions. The company licenses and sells software products, including enterprise content management that assists customers with content management, collaboration tools, records management, email management, and archiving capabilities; business process management for analyzing, automating, monitoring, and optimizing structured business processes; and customer experience management with Web content management, digital asset management, customer communications management, social media applications, portal, and mobility solutions. Its products also include information exchange solutions comprising capture and fax management systems, managed file transfer tools, EDI services, cloud-based file sharing, and data integration tools; and discovery solutions consisting of content analytics, auto classification, searching, semantic navigation, and eDiscovery, as well as information access platform to deal with the issue of information silos. In addition, the company provides customer support programs that include access to software upgrades and an on-line mechanism to post and review trouble tickets. Further, it offers professional services, such as consulting, learning, and hosting services relating to the implementation, training, and integration of its product offerings into the customer's systems; and cloud services through services arrangements, which allow its customers to make use of legacy EasyLink and OpenText software, services, and content over Internet enabled networks. The company serves organizations, mid-market companies, and government agencies in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, rest of Europe, and internationally. It has strategic partnerships with SAP, Microsoft Corporation, and Oracle Corporation. Open Text Corporation was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Waterloo, Canada.
