The Risk and Insurance Services segment provides risk management and insurance broking, reinsurance broking, insurance program management, catastrophe and financial modeling services, and related advisory services for businesses, public entities, insurance companies, associations, professional services organizations, and private clients. The Consulting segment offers retirement, health, talent, and investments consulting and services, and specialized management and economic consulting services. This segment provides strategic and compliance-related retirement services and solutions to corporate, governmental, and institutional clients; assists public and private sector employers in the design, management, and administration of employee health care programs; advises organizations on the engagement, management, and rewarding of employees, the design of executive remuneration programs, and improvement of human resource effectiveness; and provides investment consulting and other services to the fiduciaries of pension funds, foundations, endowments, other investors, and wealth management companies. It principally serves customers in the United States, the United Kingdom, the Asia Pacific, and Continental Europe. Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. was founded in 1871 and is headquartered in New York, New York.
