Genco Shipping & Trading Limited Description

Genco Shipping & Trading Limited transports iron ore, coal, grain, steel products and other drybulk cargoes along shipping routes through the ownership and operation of drybulk carrier vessels. The Company has two reportable segments, GS&T and Baltic Trading, both of which are engaged in the ocean transportation of drybulk cargoes across the world. The Company's fleet consists of approximately 53 drybulk carriers, including nine Capesize, eight Panamax, 17 Supramax, six Handymax and 13 Handysize drybulk carriers. 32 of the vessels in the Company's fleet are on spot market-related time charters and eleven are on fixed-rate time charter contracts. Additionally, ten of the vessels are operating in vessel pools. The Company's vessels are chartered to charterers, including Cargill International S.A. and its subsidiaries (Cargill), Pacific Basin Chartering Ltd. (Pacbasin), Swissmarine Services S.A. and its subsidiaries (Swissmarine) and the Clipper Logger Pool.
