Battery Electric Vehicle

A Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) is a type of electric vehicle (EV) that uses chemical energy stored in rechargeable battery packs to power its motor. BEVs have no internal combustion engine, and instead use electric motors and motor controllers to power the vehicle. BEVs are typically more efficient than traditional gasoline-powered vehicles, and produce no tailpipe emissions.
