Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) is a type of digital or analog multiplexing in which two or more signals or bit streams are transferred simultaneously as sub-channels in the same communication channel. TDM involves sequencing the data streams by dividing a communication channel into several time slots and allocating each data stream its own time slot. This allows multiple signals to be transferred simultaneously over a single communication line.
