Natural Gas Liquid

Natural gas liquids (NGLs) are hydrocarbons that are found in natural gas and are separated from the gas state through the process of fractionation. NGLs are composed of propane, butane, ethane, pentane, and higher molecular weight hydrocarbons. These liquids are used as a fuel source, as a feedstock for the petrochemical industry, and as a raw material for the production of plastics, synthetic rubber, and other products.
