The PowerShares DWA Emerging Markets Momentum Portfolio (Fund) is based on the Dorsey Wright® Emerging Markets Technical Leaders Index ND (Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its total assets in securities of emerging economies within Dorsey, Wright & Associates, LLC's classification definition, excluding companies listed on a US stock exchange. The Index includes approximately 100 companies that possess powerful relative strength characteristics and are domiciled in emerging market countries including, but not limited to Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey. The Index is computed using the net return, which withholds applicable taxes for non-resident investors. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted quarterly. Effective on or about Oct. 4, 2013, the name of the Fund changed from PowerShares DWA Emerging Markets Technical Leaders Portfolio to PowerShares DWA Emerging Markets Momentum Portfolio.

EWT Description The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the MSCI Taiwan Index (the "underlying index"). The fund will at all times invest at least 80% of its assets in the securities of its underlying index and in depositary receipts ("DRs") representing securities in its underlying index. The underlying index consists of stocks traded primarily on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. Components primarily include financial, information technology and materials companies. The fund is non-diversified.
