The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the fund's fees and expenses) of an equity index called the Defined Latin America Index. The fund normally invests at least 90% of its net assets plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes in stocks that comprise the index. The index is a modified equal-dollar weighted index designed by S&P to objectively identify and select stocks from the S&P Latin America BMI Index that may generate positive alpha relative to traditional passive-style indices through the use of the AlphaDEX(R) selection methodology. The fund is non-diversified.

The investment seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of relatively high dividend paying equities in emerging markets. The fund generally invests at least 80% of its assets in the securities of the underlying index or in depositary receipts representing securities of the underlying index. It seeks to track the investment results of the Dow Jones Emerging Markets Select Dividend Index (the "underlying index"), which measures the performance of a group of equity securities issued by companies in emerging market countries that have provided relatively high dividend yields on a consistent basis over time. The fund is non-diversified.
