Wolverine Bancorp, Inc. operates as a holding company for Wolverine Bank that provides various banking and financial services to individual and business customers in the Great Lakes Bay Region of Michigan. The company accepts various deposit accounts, including statement savings accounts, certificates of deposits, money market accounts, commercial and consumer checking accounts, retirement accounts, and health savings accounts. It also offers various loan products comprising commercial real estate mortgage loans, loans on multifamily dwellings, and loans on undeveloped land; one-to four-family residential mortgage loans; construction loans; commercial non-mortgage loans; home equity loans and lines of credit; and consumer loans consisting of new and used automobile loans, recreational vehicle loans, and loans secured by certificates of deposits and other collateral marketable securities. In addition, the company provides ATMs, online banking, remote deposit capture, telephone banking, and mobile banking delivery services. It operates three banking offices located in Midland; one banking office in Frankenmuth; and two loan centers in Saginaw County. The company was founded in 1933 and is based in Midland, Michigan.
