Tri-County Financial Corporation operates as the holding company for Community Bank of Tri-County that provides commercial and retail banking services to individuals, associations, partnerships, and corporations in the Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary's counties of southern Maryland. Its deposit products include savings accounts, money market accounts, demand deposits, IRAs, SEPs, Christmas clubs, and time deposit accounts. The company's loan products portfolio comprises commercial real estate and other non-residential real estate loans, residential first mortgage loans, construction and land development loans, home equity and second mortgage loans, commercial loans, consumer loans, and commercial equipment loans. It also offers tax-deferred retirement programs, brokerage services, cash management services, safe deposit boxes, travelers checks, night depositories, automated clearinghouse transactions, wire transfers, ATMs, and online and telephone banking services. In addition, the company issues trust preferred securities. Tri-County Financial Corporation serves its customers through its main office and nine branches located in Waldorf, Bryans Road, Dunkirk, Leonardtown, La Plata, Lusby, Charlotte Hall, Prince Frederick, and Lexington Park, Maryland. The company was founded in 1950 and is based in Waldorf, Maryland.
