P & F Industries, Inc. Description

P&F Industries, Inc. provides tools and hardware products in the United States. It operates in two segments, Tools and Other Products (Tools) and Hardware and Accessories (Hardware). The Tools segment designs, imports, and sells pneumatic hand tools, including sanders, grinders, drills, saws, and impact wrenches under the Florida Pneumatic and Universal Tool names through in-house sales personnel and manufacturers' representatives to distributors, retailers, and private label customers; and markets pipe and bolt dies, pipe taps, wrenches, vises and stands, pipe and tubing cutting equipment, hydrostatic test pumps, and replacement electrical components for various pipe cutting and threading machines through industrial distributors and contractors. This segment also manufacturers and distributes industrial pneumatic tools, such as impact wrenches, grinders, drills, and motors under the ATP brand for refineries, chemical plants, power generation, heavy construction, oil, and mining companies; a line of pneumatic tool replacement parts to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs); high pressure stoppers for hydrostatic testing fabricated pipes under the Thaxton brand; and a line of siphons under the Eureka name through its in-house sales force and manufacturer representatives. This segment also assembles and markets a line of compressor air filters. The Hardware segment develops, imports, and manufactures fencing hardware, patio products, and door and window accessories, such as rollers, hinges, window operators, sash locks, custom zinc castings, and door closers to distributors, dealers, retailers, and OEM customers through in-house sales personnel and independent manufacturers' representatives; and markets a kitchen and bath product line to contractors, home builders, pool and patio enclosure contractors, plumbers, OEM/private label customers, and general consumers. The company was founded in 1959 and is headquartered in Melville, New York.
