PAR Technology Corporation, through its subsidiaries, provides technology solutions to businesses and organizations in the hospitality industry worldwide. The company operates in two segments: Hospitality and Government. The Hospitality segment provides information technology solutions, including software applications, hardware platforms, and installation and lifecycle support services to restaurants and hotels. This segment offers hardware products comprising order-entry terminals, self-service kiosks, kitchen systems, utilizing printers, video monitors, and a range of food safety monitoring and task management tools; and software products, such as front-of-store software applications, operations management software applications, and enterprise software applications for content management and business intelligence. The Government segment offers software solutions for various property types, including city-center hotels, destination spa and golf resorts, cruise ships, and casino hotels. This segment provides command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance support to the U.S. Department of Defense and other federal agencies; and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance solutions; and systems engineering and evaluation, communications systems support, and information technology services. PAR Technology Corporation was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in New Hartford, New York.
