Technical Analysis for MDT - Medtronic Inc.

Grade Last Price % Change Price Change
D 79.56 0.47% 0.37
MDT closed up 0.14 percent on Thursday, April 18, 2024, on approximately normal volume. The stock exhibited some range contraction during this trading session as price made an NR7 -- narrowest range of the last seven sessions. The price action carved out a bullish hammer (or hammer-like) candlestick pattern. That may indicate an upside reversal. Look for price to trade above the high of the hammer for confirmation. Due to the stock's strong downtrend, it may remain oversold for a while. So, if you're looking for a reason to buy, don't put too much weight on it being oversold.
