The company provides business management systems, which include proprietary software applications, implementation and training, and third-party hardware and peripherals; information products, such as an accessible catalog database related to parts, tires, labor estimates, scheduled maintenance, repair information, technical service bulletins, pricing, and product features and benefits that are used by the various participants in the automotive aftermarket; online services and products that offer online connectivity between manufacturers, warehouse distributors, retailers, and automotive service providers; and customer support, and consulting and training services. Its business management solutions comprise Autopart and DirectStep, which are designed for and targeted at warehouse distributors that seek to manage multiple locations and inventories on a single system; Autopart that is designed for and targeted at parts store chains that seek to manage various locations and inventories on a single system for a regional area; VAST designed for and targeted at large-to medium-sized automotive service and tire chains; Autowork Online, which is designed for and targeted at small single store automotive installers; and Trader designed for and targeted at generic wholesalers and distributors. In addition, the company provides online e-commerce gateway services, e-commerce browser services, Autonet online services, and AutoCat+, a parts catalog distributed through the Internet. The company is headquartered in Barnsley, the United Kingdom.
