Its Group Life Insurance Business segment sells insurance contracts and investment contracts, such as term life, whole life, and annuity products to group entities. The company's Short-Term Insurance Business segment provides short-term insurance contracts, including short-term accident and health insurance contracts. China Life Insurance Company Limited offers its products through exclusive agents, direct sales representatives, dedicated and non-dedicated agencies, intermediary bancassurance outlets, and e-distribution channel. The company was founded in 1949 and is based in Beijing, China. China Life Insurance Company Limited is a subsidiary of China Life Insurance (Group) Company.
