The company operates through three business lines, including commercial mortgage lending, investments in securities secured by first mortgage loans, and investments in selected net leased and other commercial real estate assets. It originates conduit first mortgage loans that are secured by income-producing commercial real estate; and originates and invests in balance sheet first mortgage loans secured by commercial real estate properties, which are undergoing transition, including lease-up, sell-out, renovation, or repositioning. The company also invests in other commercial real estate-related loans, such as note purchase financings, subordinated debt, mezzanine debt, and other structured finance products related to commercial real estate. As of September 30, 2013, it owned and leased 34 single tenant retail properties and 356 residential condominium units. Ladder Capital Corp is headquartered in New York, New York.
