Itaú CorpBanca, together with its subsidiaries, provides various commercial and retail banking services in Chile. It operates through seven segments: Large, Corporate, and Real Estate Companies; Companies; Traditional and Private Banking; Lower Income Retail Banking; Treasury and International; Financial Services Offered Through Subsidiaries; and Colombia. The company accepts checking accounts, current accounts, bankers' drafts, savings accounts, time deposits, and others. Its loan portfolio includes commercial loans; working capital loans; letters of credit; mortgage loans, including residential mortgages for the purchase of new and existing homes, and other mortgages for other purposes secured by real property owned by the customer; and consumer loans that comprise personal loans, and university and post-graduate education loans. The company also offers trade finance, on-lending of financing, overdraft credit lines, cash flow management services, foreign exchange derivatives, credit and debit cards, factoring and leasing, automated teller machine (ATM) cards, and Internet and telephone banking services. In addition, it provides financial advisory services, mutual fund management, insurance brokerage, and securities brokerage services, as well as treasury services. The company serves individuals, large economic groups, state-owned mining companies, utilities and energy companies, ports, airports, and public hospitals. As of December 31, 2015, it operated 127 branch offices in Chile and New York, including 71 branches operating under the Itaú CorpBanca name and 56 branches operating under the Banco Condell name; and owned and operated 417 ATMs in Chile. The company was formerly known as CorpBanca and changed its name Itaú CorpBanca in April 2016. Itaú CorpBanca was founded in 1871 and is based in Santiago, Chile.
