Intelligent Systems Corporation, through its subsidiaries, designs, develops, sells, and supports products in information technology and industrial sectors. The company operates through two segments, Information Technology Products and Services, and Industrial Products. The Information Technology Products and Services segment designs, develops, and markets a suite of software solutions that allows companies to offer various types of debit and credit cards, as well as revolving loans; to set up and maintain account data; to record advances and payments; to assess fees, interest, and other charges; to resolve disputes and chargebacks; to manage collections of accounts receivable; to generate reports; and to settle transactions with financial institutions and network associations. Its CoreCard software platform and modules include CoreENGINE, CoreISSUE, CoreFRAUD, CoreCOLLECT, CoreSALES, CoreAPP, and CoreACQUIRE. This segment also offers financial transaction processing services, professional services, and software maintenance and support services. The Industrial Products segment offers SmartWasher parts washer cleaning system, a bio-remediation system that cleans automotive and machine parts, as well as provides associated fluid and filter supplies. Its SmartWasher system consists of a molded plastic tub and sink, recirculating pump, heater, control panel, filter, microorganisms, and aqueous-based degreasing solutions. This segment serves automotive, transportation, industrial, and military markets directly, as well as through various distribution channels. The company was founded in 1973 and is headquartered in Norcross, Georgia.
