Great Western Bancorp, Inc. operates as the bank holding company for Great Western Bank that provides business and agribusiness banking, retail banking, and wealth management services. The company offers checking and savings accounts, and corporate credit cards; commercial and industrial loans, including working capital and other shorter-term lines of credit, and fixed-rate loans; commercial real estate (CRE) loans comprising owner-occupied and non-owner-occupied CRE loans, multifamily residential real estate loans, and construction and development loans; and cash management services, online business deposit, and wire transfer services to small and mid-sized businesses in various industries, including ancillary agribusiness services, freight and transport, healthcare, and tourism. It also provides provide short-term working capital funding, long-term land-related lending, and other tailored services, as well as crop insurance primarily to grain and protein producers. In addition, the company offers checking accounts, savings and money market accounts, individual retirement accounts, and certificates of deposit; and residential mortgage loans, home equity loans, home equity lines of credit, general lines of credit, auto loans, and other loans to its retail customers through online, telephone, and mobile banking platforms. Further, it provides wealth management solutions consisting of financial planning, private banking, investment management, and trust services through associations with third party vendors, including a registered broker-dealer and investment adviser. The company serves through 162 branches located in 116 communities in South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Arizona, Kansas, and Missouri. Great Western Bancorp, Inc. was founded in 1935 and is headquartered in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
