The company's Real Estate segment is involved in the ownership, construction, leasing, and management of commercial and industrial properties, as well as the development of residential subdivisions on real estate owned by it in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. Its Landscape Nursery segment engages in the growing of containerized plants for sale principally to independent retail garden centers and rewholesalers, which serve landscape contractors. This segment's primary products are evergreens, including rhododendron, flowering shrubs, and perennials. Griffin Land & Nurseries, Inc. was founded in 1970 and is based in New York, New York.
