Guaranty Federal Bancshares, Inc. operates as the holding company for Guaranty Bank that provides banking services primarily in Greene and Christian Counties in the southwestern corner of Missouri. Its deposit products include various checking accounts, money markets, savings, fixed-term certificates of deposit, and individual retirement accounts. The company’s loan portfolio comprises commercial real estate loans, multi-family residential mortgage loans, construction loans, permanent one-to four-family residential mortgage loans, and commercial business loans, as well as consumer and other loans consisting of loans secured by certificates of deposit, automobile loans, boat loans, and home equity loans. It also invests in mortgage-backed securities, the United States Government and federal agency securities, and other marketable securities. As of July 15, 2013, the company had nine full-service branches in Greene and Christian Counties; and a loan production office in Webster County. Guaranty Federal Bancshares, Inc. was founded in 1913 and is based in Springfield, Missouri.
