Its clinical and pre-clinical programs include treatments for restrictive burn scars, vocal cord scars, and acne scars. The company also develops Fibrocell Science Autologous Crème, an autologous skin care cream. Fibrocell Science, Inc. has a collaboration agreement with Intrexon Corporation to discover and develop treatments for collagen deficient diseases, such as recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa. The company was formerly known as Isolagen, Inc. and changed its name to Fibrocell Science, Inc. in September 2009. Fibrocell Science, Inc. was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Exton, Pennsylvania.
