It invests in public equity and fixed income markets across the globe. The fund seeks to invest in securities of companies operating across diversified sectors. It primarily invests in dividend paying stocks of large-cap companies. For its fixed income portion, the fund invests in debt securities such as investment grade and high risk government bonds, high yield corporate bonds, and convertible bonds. It benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the S&P 500 Index, the Lipper Closed-End Global Funds Average, the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Developed Index, and the BoFA Merrill Lynch U.S. High Yield Constrained Index. Delaware Enhanced Global Dividend and Income Fund was formed on June 29, 2007 and is domiciled in the United States.
