Cosan Limited engages in sugar and ethanol, fuel, logistics services, lubricants, and piped natural gas businesses primarily in Brazil, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, North America, and other countries. The company's Raízen Energia segment engages in the production and marketing of various products derived from sugar cane, including raw sugar, and anhydrous and hydrated ethanol; and activities related to energy cogeneration from sugarcane bagasse. Its Raízen Combustíveis segment is involved in the distribution and marketing of fuels, primarily through a franchised network of service stations under the Shell and Esso brand names in Brazil. The company's Radar segment engages in buying, selling, and leasing agricultural land for sugarcane plants and grains. Its Rumo segment provides logistics services for transport, storage, and port lifting, primarily for sugar products. The company's COMGAS segment engages in the distribution of piped natural gas to customers in the industrial, residential, commercial, automotive, thermogeneration, and cogeneration sectors in part of the territory of the State of Sao Paulo. Its Other Business segment is involved in the sale and distribution of lubricants. Cosan Limited operates a network of 4,700 Shell service stations and 750 convenience stores. The company was incorporated in 2007 and is based in São Paulo, Brazil.
