California Water Service Group Description

California Water Service Group, through its subsidiaries, provides water utility and other related services in California, Washington, New Mexico, and Hawaii. It engages in the production, purchase, storage, treatment, testing, distribution, and sale of water for domestic, industrial, public, and irrigation uses, as well as for fire protection. The company is also involved in non-regulated water-related activities, including operating water and waste water systems; providing operating and maintenance, meter reading, and billing services to municipalities and private companies, as well as lab services for water quality testing; leasing communication antenna sites on its properties to telecommunication companies; operating recycled water systems; the billing of optional third party insurance programs to its residential customers; and offering sewer and refuse billing services to various municipalities. California Water Service Group was founded in 1926 and is headquartered in San Jose, California.
