Credit Suisse Group AG, together with its subsidiaries, provides various financial services to private, corporate, institutional, and government clients, as well as high-net-worth individuals worldwide. The company operates in two segments: Private Banking and Wealth Management, and Investment Banking. The Private Banking and Wealth Management segment offers a range of advice and financial solutions, including succession planning, tax advisory, financial planning, and investment advice; banking products, such as traditional and structured lending, payment services, foreign-exchange, capital goods, and real estate leasing; and investment solutions and services to pension funds, governments, foundations and endowments, corporations, and individuals. The Investment Banking segment provides equity and debt underwriting services; advisory services, such as M&A, corporate sales and restructurings, divestitures, and takeover defense strategies; global securities sales; trading and execution, prime brokerage, and capital raising services; and investment research services. Credit Suisse Group AG was founded in 1856 and is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.
