The company provides FORE-SIGHT Absolute Tissue Oximeter, a cerebral oximeter that offers noninvasive quantitative measurement of cerebral tissue oxygen levels enabling clinicians to identify and quickly react to dangerously low brain oxygen levels, as well as to monitor the oxygenation of other tissues, such as muscle and abdominal tissues in newborns. It also offers bedside vital signs monitors and accessories incorporating various combinations of measurement parameters for human and veterinary use, such as MAXNIBP non-invasive blood pressure, pulse oximetry, electrocardiography (ECG), temperature, and capnography; and supplies specialty neonatal supplies comprising Klear-Trace ECG electrodes, NeoGuard skin temperature probes, and adhesive reflectors, as well as various repair services. The company markets its products through its own sales force, distributors, and manufacturers representatives, as well as through hospital, surgery center and outpatient facility, homecare, veterinary, and emergency medical distribution channels. CAS Medical Systems, Inc. was founded in 1984 and is headquartered in Branford, Connecticut.
