American River Bankshares operates as the holding company for American River Bank that provides commercial banking services to small to mid-sized businesses in California. It accepts checking and savings deposits; and offers money market deposit accounts and certificates of deposit. The company also provides secured and unsecured commercial, secured real estate, and other installment and term loans, as well as other customary banking services. In addition, it conducts lease financing for various types of business equipment ranging from computer software to heavy earth-moving equipment. The company operates five full service offices in Sacramento and Placer counties; two full service offices in Sonoma County in Healdsburg and Santa Rosa under the North Coast Bank name; and three full service banking offices in Amador county in Jackson, Pioneer, and Ione under the Bank of Amador name. American River Bankshares was founded in 1983 and is headquartered in Rancho Cordova, California.
