Alaska Communications Systems Group, Inc., through its subsidiaries, provides integrated communications services to business and consumer customers in Alaska and internationally. It provides communications and managed services, including voice and broadband data network hosting, IT management, cloud-based services, billing and collection, and local and long distance services to business customers, including small and medium businesses, larger enterprises, and government customers, which include municipal, local, state and federal government entities, school districts, libraries, and rural health care hospitals, as well as to wholesale customers, such as other telecommunications carriers. The company also offers broadband, Internet access, local and long distance voice, and other communications products and services to residential customers; and wireless voice and broadband services, and other value-added wireless products and services, such as wireless devices, across Alaska with roaming coverage available in the contiguous states, Hawaii and Canada. In addition, it provides voice and broadband termination services to inter and intrastate carriers who provide services to retail customers. Alaska Communications Systems Group, Inc. was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska.
